In three days (2 nights) in the chic 4- star Kimpton Goodland Hotel, and one full day of wine tours, you will learn about natural winemaking, visit five wineries and tasting rooms, enjoy wine and cheese pairing, and explore the gorgeous Santa Ynez Valley - All with your dog(s)!
ABOUT US
I'm Nadja, and the cute little Spaniel is my 2-year old dog-child PIKA (peeka).
We live in Santa Monica, California, and love to travel. Pika has been on over 20 flights, including twice to Europe, and we regularly enjoy weekend trips together locally.
Apart from travel and dogs (#crazydogmom), I am very passionate about food & wine. I've spent countless nights studying, and researching winemaking, dog-friendly wineries, tasting rooms, and hotels. I created Wine Pooch to share my knowledge and experience with you - fellow dog & wine lovers.
All reviews on this site are genuine, and our dog friendly wine tours are personalized and curated, to ensure a fantastic experience for all humans and dogs involved.

Saturday, February 9

10:00 AM depart the hotel with a repurposed, dog friendly bus for a day of wine tasting.

Visit 4 wineries and tasting rooms for private wine tastings (with snacks).

Ice, water, and snacks (for humans and dogs) be provided throughout the day.

Stops for lunch, walks, and photo-ops.

Return to hotel at around 6:30 PM.

We want to ensure the best experience for you and your dog. Therefore:
ALL activities, including cheese and wine pairing, wine tastings, and transportation, are curated, and 100% DOG friendly.
Please familiarize yourselves with our Dog Etiquette Rules, so that all furry and non-furry friends can have an enjoyable, fun weekend!
Pricing
$1490 per room, for DOUBLE occupancy. ($745 per person) with 2 dogs allowed per room.
$990 for a private room, SINGLE occupancy, with 2 dogs allowed per room.
All rates include:
2 nights at the gorgeous, 4*Kimpton Goleta Hotel, curated, private wine and cheese pairings, a seminar on natural wines, a full-day of wine tours (4-5 wineries) in Santa Ynez Valley – with transportation and snacks for you and your pooch included – and more. ALL activities are dog friendly, but you do not need to bring a dog to join the retreat.
You are responsible for your travel to and from the retreat location (Kimpton Goleta Hotel).
