Wine Pooch Tour, February 8 - 10, Santa Barbara

Join us in the beautiful Santa Barbara County for a luxurious dog-friendly weekend of wine tours, wine and cheese pairing, bubbles, learning about natural wines, and spending time with fellow dog-parents and dogs. This is an intimate retreat, with only 20 spaces available in total. You do not need to bring (or have) a dog to join, but all activities, including food and wine pairing, transportation, and seminar, are dog friendly. We do require, however, that you like both: DOGS and WINE, to ensure everyone feels comfortable.

All levels of wine-knowledge are welcome and encouraged. Are you a natural wine expert? Have you never heard of natural wine? We look forward to meeting you (and your pooch)!

Your retreat includes:

• 2 nights in a beautiful, private room in the 4-star Kimpton Hotel in Goleta for you and your dog(s). (Dogs of any sizes are welcome, as long as they are well-behaved).
• All taxes, resort fee, parking, wifi, and other fees included. No hidden costs.
• Appetizers and sommelier guided wine pairing with gourmet cheeses, bubbles, and wine from a local winemaker in a private, dog-friendly patio. (Friday)
• Complimentary morning tea and coffee – dog friendly.
• A full day (Saturday) of exclusive, guided natural wine tours in the Santa Ynez Valley (4 wineries), with plenty of snacks, water, and ice. Dog friendly.
• Comfortable, private, dog friendly transportation between hotel & wineries (Leave your car at the hotel).
• A private, sommelier led seminar on natural wine (with bubbles) on Sunday.
• Opportunity to meet and talk to the winemakers & winery owners, and buy wine.
• Access to the fitness center and outdoor pool (no dogs allowed)
• Photo-ops you do not want to miss!

Not included:

• Transportation to and from your home the retreat. (Kimpton Goodland, Goleta).
• Dinner on Saturday, and any additional food and wine you may wish to purchase.
• Dog food. (Fridge available in the room for raw feeders)

We will be stationed at a the Kimpton Goodland boutique hotel in Santa Barbara’s sister city Goleta. Only 2 hours from Los Angeles, this under the radar chic hotel is unlike any other. Wake up and practice yoga in your room, experience SoCal coastal cuisine at the fantastic restaurant and lobby bar, have a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace with your dog, or have fun at the beach less than 10 minutes away.

On Saturday, a large, specially repurposed bus will take us from the hotel for a full day of wine tasting in the scenic Santa Ynez Valley, to villages of Buellton, Los Olivos, and Los Alamos (with a stop in Solvang).
