We love going to Ashland Hill for several reasons: their cozy patio, their excellent happy a.k.a. “social” hour on weekdays, and their crispy roasted brussels sprouts.
One of the most dog-friendly restaurants in LA/Santa Monica, Ashland Hill’s patio is dog heaven. About once a month, 50+ dogs take over the patio for the so-called yappy hour event, usually hosted by Healthy Spot. Ashland Hill is famous for its exceptional gin selection, so their wine menu is pretty small. I would definitely go for the biodynamic Tablas Creek Rosé, a house wine par excellence, or the Matanzas Sauvignon Blanc. (Both of these wineries are also dog friendly, and will be reviewed soon!)
